Destination wedding in Dordogne

Wedding Photography in dordogne, SOUTH WEST France

The Dordogne is one of the most sought-after regions in France for destination weddings. With its golden stone villages, rolling countryside, historic châteaux and soft summer light, it offers a setting that feels both timeless and deeply welcoming.
Many couples travel here from abroad, drawn by the atmosphere and the experience of gathering their closest people in one place. Being familiar with the region and its rhythm allows me to work with ease, adapting to the light, the pace of the day and the natural flow of events.
If you are getting married in the Dordogne and are looking for a photographer who understands both the setting and the spirit of destination celebrations, I would be happy to hear more about your plans.

A Documentary Approach, Guided by Light and Rhythm

My approach is documentary and unobtrusive, blending digital photography with 35mm film to create a cohesive and intentional body of work.
I photograph weddings in Dordogne as well as across the South of France.
Throughout the day, I photograph using both digital and 35mm film wedding photography. Digital allows for continuity and flexibility, while film introduces a slower pace and a different relationship to time. Film images carry subtle variations in tone and texture that add depth to the final gallery.

Destination & Multi-Day Weddings

Many of the weddings I photograph in Dordogne take place over several days. Welcome dinners, garden gatherings, the wedding day itself, and farewell moments allow space for connections to grow and stories to unfold naturally.
This format creates a richer narrative, moving beyond a single sequence of highlights. With time and continuity, the images reflect the full experience of being together — the in-between moments as much as the main events.
I offer coverage adapted to multi-day celebrations, ensuring a consistent visual thread across each part of the weekend.

Working With International Couples

I regularly work with couples based abroad who are planning their wedding in France. Communication is handled in English, with a clear and structured process from the first exchange through to final image delivery.
Planning from a distance requires trust and clarity. I support couples in anticipating the rhythm of their day, the role of light, and the photographic flow, without adding unnecessary complexity.
My role is to document your wedding with care and consistency, allowing you to be fully present while I focus on the details that will remain.
